Community Spirit is all about getting out and about to local events and services and enjoying time out in the community at places like the Art Gallery, the cinema and much more.

Let our staff empower you to learn how to catch public transport from the Brighton Lifestyle Precinct and make your way to the Marion Aquatic Centre for regular access sessions.

Expand your understanding of different cultures through exploration of food and drink, relaxation activities, visual arts, and so much more as you work your way around the world.

Access local hiking trails, fishing, bike riding, and tend to our organic garden beds at the Lifestyle Precinct, where we grow seasonal crops to be used in cooking to get an understanding of 'soil to plate'.

Geared towards a younger crowd, this program aims to connect you with your peers and develop meaningful friendships while learning some new skills.

Minda has recently expanded our services to include a transition program for 16-18-year-old high school leavers.

The MyPathway to Day Options Program features the best of what our regular MyPath Day Options program has to offer in bite-size pieces. The 20-week program will have different skill-based workshops each week including seasonal gardening, cooking, ICT, creative arts, music, leisure and recreation and contain endless opportunities to make new friends and build new skills.

Each session will also include a morning activity that will focus on physical exercise to help regulate the body and mind. These will rotate between yoga, stretching, big body movement, bush walking, morning gardening, bike rides, music and dance.

The program aims to make the transition from high school to a young adult environment smooth and ease the move into the Day Options programs.

MyPathway to Day Options will begin in term 2 and be held Saturday mornings from 9.30am - 12.30pm at Minda Brighton.
