The South Australian Learning Centre, based at Minda's Brighton site, is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #4881) offering nationally accredited training programs in the areas of Disability, Community Services and Horticulture; and industry specific short courses.

The South Australian Learning Centre is a preferred provider of VETRO programs by the Department for Education and is an accredited provider of subsidised training through the Department for Skills and Innovation for eligible students. VETRO programs are delivered from Minda’s Brighton Site as well as in the Regions.

The nationally accredited courses drive quality outcomes by offering hands-on, job-ready training, delivered by industry experts industry best practice forms the cornerstone of all South Australian Learning Centre programs and short courses.

CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

23 weeks (Classes: 2 days per week) includes 120 hours work placement

CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support

Course Pre-Requisites: Currently working in the Disability Sector (or allied industry) AND Completion of one of the following:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), OR
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), OR
- CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set
Incidental Fees: Additional training Fee applies for any applicant requiring CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set (price on application)

AHC20422 Certificate II in Horticulture
Course Duration: 1 school year (commencing Term One or mid-year intake). 1 class per week.

VETRO (School Student Entry - 2 options) - CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
Option 1 - Vet for School Students (VSS) Option:
Duration:
1 school year
Training Day:

- 8:50am - 4:00pm (classroom)
- Wednesday (plus Monday - Friday block of training in the final week of Terms 1, 2 and 3)

Option 2 - School-based Traineeship Pathway Option:

Duration: 1 school year
Training Day:

- 8:50am - 4:00pm (classroom)
- Up to 2 days per week during school terms
Work obligations:
7.5 hours per week (minimum)

Funded Course fee: $419 School Student Concession
