Minda Incorporated utilises a secure encrypted connection for the storage of any credit card numbers.

We utilise a secure payment gateway, operating on 256 AES encryption. This ensures high level protection of your personal and financial details as well as order particulars which are all encrypted as they are sent to and from your computer.

Other information including your name and address are only stored on our server for us to facilitate any customer service enquiries and deliveries.

One-off donations to Minda Incorporated of $2 or more are tax deductible. This will be identified in the relevant appeal details online and will also appear on your tax receipt. A receipt for your donation will be forwarded following the transaction. For security purposes, the credit card details will not be stored by Minda Incorporated.

By signing up to monthly donations, you authorise Minda Incorporated (ABN: 37 020 000 711, User ID: 465102) to debit funds from your selected account at the financial institution identified, as prescribed through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System. This authorisation is to remain in force in accordance with the terms described below.

1. Your account will be debited between the range nominated (4th-9th of each month OR 18th-23rd of each month). Debit re-tries may occur up to ten days after your nominated date.
2. You have the right to cancel, defer or make alterations to the direct debit arrangement at any time. Should you wish to cancel, defer or make alterations, please contact Minda on (08) 8422 6555, email supporters@minda.asn.au or write to: Fundraising Department. 3. Should you have any queries or dispute any debit item, please contact Minda Incorporated in the first instance.
4. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient clear funds are in the nominated account when payments are drawn. If the transaction is returned unpaid, we will contact you seeking instructions.
5. You are advised to check your account details by contacting your financial institution.
6. Direct Debiting is not available on the full range of accounts. If in doubt, please refer to your financial institution.
7. Your records and account details will be kept private and confidential to be disclosed only if requested by yourself or financial institution if a claim is made for an alleged incorrect or wrongful debit.

All donations of $2.00 or more to Minda Incorporated are tax deductible. Receipts are issued to donors with a direct debit agreement at the end of each financial year or following the cancellation of your agreement (whichever occurs first). You can request a receipt at any time by calling (08) 8422 6555.

Minda provides donors who sign up to a monthly donation agreement with a welcome letter which includes the following information:

• the amount of the regular donation
• the total annual cost
• the frequency of the agreed ongoing donation
• the date of the commencement of the agreement
• a statement ensuring that the donor has the right to terminate their agreement at any time and details on how to terminate

All prices referred to on this website are in Australian dollars only.

Please be advised that your donation will be converted to Australian Dollars. Please be aware of your local exchange rate at present and consider any recurring donations where the exchange rate may vary.

All complaints, grievances and disputes will be treated seriously, quickly and in a timely manner, having due regard to procedural fairness and confidentiality. All parties are required to participate in the dispute resolution process in good faith.

If you believe that there has been an error with your donation, you should notify us as soon as possible via telephone on (08) 8422 6555, email at supporters@minda.asn.au or by writing to: Fundraising Department. Minda Incorporated, PO Box 5, Brighton SA 5048.

Any issues should be directed to Minda Incorporated in the first instance so we can attempt to promptly resolve the matter. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can refer the matter to your financial institution who will obtain details of the disputed transaction and will respond to you with an answer to your claim:

• within 5 business days (for claims lodged within 12 months of the disputed drawing); or
• within 30 business days (for claims lodged more than 12 months after the disputed drawing).

You will receive a refund if we cannot substantiate the reason for the drawing.
