Our sincere thanks to those who have shared messages in support of our many front-line staff who continue to work hard to support your loved one during this period of uncertainty.

Over recent days we have had a number of families enjoy a visit with their loved one living at Minda. Don’t forget that if you are keen on a visit – whether offsite or onsite – you need to call the house first and speak with staff.

We continue to provide daily updates to SA Health, who aggregate any new COVID-19 positive results amongst Minda clients and staff into the daily total figures released by the State Government.

Where a client or staff member tests positive or when a location is identified as a place of close contact exposure risk, we are dealing direct with relevant family members. When a resident tests positive or is identified as a close contact of someone who has, then onsite and offsite visits to that house are temporarily suspended due to quarantine requirements to prevent possible spread of the virus. This is in the best interests of all our vulnerable clients.

If your loved one is identified as a close contact of a positive case, then staff will closely monitor them for any signs of being unwell and they will have 3 x daily temperature tests.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
