Celebrating 'International Day of People with a Disability' (IDPWD) has been a staple on the calendar for many years at Minda. IDPWD is aimed at increasing public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.
Our North Brighton grounds will be converted into a fully-fledged carnival, with amusement rides, live entertainment, petting zoo, BBQ lunch and more! Everything, including lunch, is free of charge for Minda clients and their families.
Activities are available for all abilities, and the BBQ includes minced and moist, pureed and thickened drink options for those who need them.
All Minda clients and families are welcome to join us, we can't wait to see you there.
(We hear there might even be a visit from a certain jolly man in a red suit, with a gift for all attendees!)
