Michael was appointed in November 2011 as a Family member. Michael has a daughter with intellectual disability and autism and his experience has lead to a strong commitment to improving the wellbeing of people with intellectual disability.
Michael is excited by the opportunity to contribute to Minda, providing opportunities to improve Minda services, facilities and organisational capacity to improve the lives of South Australians with disability, and their families.
Michael has worked in State Government in agriculture, natural resource management and water resources management for 20 years. He has held a range of positions with roles in project development and delivery; regional, state and national policy development and advice; and regional planning with statutory authorities. Michael brings to the Board, skills and experience in strategic planning, policy development and community consultation. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (NRM), and post-graduate qualifications in counselling and public sector management.
