Community Christmas Carols and Markets are BACK at Minda in 2023!

We're bringing back the fun to Brighton with our annual public Christmas event returning for the first time in three years. With Christmas only a few months away, we're on the hunt for some fantastic volunteers to help us make this event bigger and better than ever.

The Community Christmas Carols and Markets is a community fundraising event with all proceeds going towards helping brighten the lives of South Australians with an intellectual disability. Not only do we raise funds, but the Carols is a family fun day out where everyone is welcome to be part of our big community celebration.

There will be market stalls, food trucks, amusements and activities, petting zoo, Santa's cave as well as live entertainment and performances on the BankSA stage throughout the day.

How can you help? Help with set up and pack down or man one of our games/amusements like Pluck a Duck or Lucky Dip, help with car parking, assist at the petting zoo, get involved with face painting, work the $2 shop, help at Santa’s Cave. Or if you’re the creative type, decorate the main stage and Santa’s cave. We will be setting up from 9am on the Saturday and packing up from 7pm-9pm.

We are needing to fill over 100 x 3 hour shifts across 24 days so we need all the help we can get! Get a group of friends together and come along for some wrapping fun.
