Minda’s new Senior Manager Site Operations Kristian Roocke may be a recent addition to the team, however he’s no stranger to the Minda community.

With an aunty living in Fassina Way accommodation, Kristian has been making regular visits to Brighton over the years.

“I have been involved with Minda since I was five or six years old,” Kristian says, “I was regularly coming to Christmas parties and other events held here so there’s a real personal connection.”

A newly created role, the Senior Manager Site Operation is focussed on looking after the Brighton Operations Hub and taking the lead in issues such as security and business continuity.

“Primarily I will be focussed looking after the safety of clients and staff as well as monitoring of all the security systems like JCT and CCTV.

“As part of (General Manager, Residential Services) Tim Chia’s team I will also be working with the other SIL managers as well, looking after everyone on campus and across community accommodation.”

Kristian will also be responsible for managing the Out of Hours Team and working with the Onboarding Team around the client movement process, bringing with him years of experience within property and facilities.

“I have a property background where I started in aged care for a number of years then progressed on to health care, and now finally landed here in disability,” Kristian says.

Kristian is wearing a grey sports jacket and white shirt. He has dark short hair and an olive complexion.
