Minda volunteers participated in National Volunteer Week's SA & NT Volunteering parade held in Adelaide CBD. Volunteers walked from the Torrens Parade Ground to Tarntanyangga (Victoria Square) where they joined in with the festivities including performances from Rachael Leahcar and Ricki Lee. Our Minda umbrellas certainly came in handy that day.
During National Volunteer Week Minda hosted a morning tea to thank our volunteers who in total donated 2748 hours of their time. Volunteering in a Covid world has been an extra challenge and our volunteers have persisted.
