Minda have held a Christmas Wishing Tree campaign for the past three years with numerous gifts donated and given out to the young people we have supported over the years, making their Christmas wishes come true.
Some of our clients don't get many gifts, if any, on Christmas Day, making the Wishing Tree all the more important.
Each year, we ask the community to help out by purchasing one or more gifts for the young people we support.
This is then placed under the Wishing Tree and given out on Christmas morning, spreading joy among our wonderful clients.
Children's Services Service Coordinator, Jessica Hadland has been part of the event since the very beginning.
"It's always really exciting to see the gift pile grow and we have a lot of fun sorting everything to see who everything is going to and delivering all the presents to the houses.
"Some of the older kids understand where these come from and they also donate their own toys that they don't use anymore so other kids can have a better Christmas too.
"It's a lot of fun and really touching how generous people are each year."
Gift tags with the age of the young person and gift suggestions will be available at INC Café at Minda Brighton on the tree from mid-November for you to choose from.
Any contribution, big or small is always greatly appreciated and goes a long way to making a child feel special on Christmas Day.
