Have a voice in the decisions that affect your everyday lives and who represents you in your local Council.

Your local Council is at the heart of your community, solving local problems and giving you a voice. You can contribute by voting in the upcoming local Council elections. The voting process is easy to follow and accessible to everyone.

WHEN AND HOW TO VOTE?

If you are on the electorate role, you will receive a voting pack in your mailbox from 17 October 2022 to complete. If you need a little help filling out the pack, you can download an Easy Read brochure with instructions below or access the online Easy Read version.

Make sure to get your vote in by Thursday 10 November 2022.

‘HOW-TO’ VOTING SESSIONS AT INC CAFE

If you are a Minda client, you can access free “How to Vote” sessions with Sally Scantlebury from the Electoral Commission, which will be held at INC Café (Jack Fox Drive, North Brighton) on the following days:

  • Friday 21 October
  • Monday 24 October
  • Wednesday 26 October
  • Wednesday 2 November

Sally can help you with any questions you may have about voting, give you tips and advice on how to complete the paperwork and explain how best to make your vote count.

No bookings are required – simply pop into the Café and have a chat with Sally.
