The players at Glenelg Golf Club, were treated to perfect weather conditions for the annual Ladies Day event, marking 53 years of the fundraiser, with almost $6,500 raised for Minda!

This year there was 143 attendees, with participants from all around Adelaide stopping by for the day.

Golfers Louise, Moira and Geraldine say they often come to the annual event and that as well as proceeds going towards a great cause, the event is always great fun.

Annette Rieniets, President of the Women's Sub-Committee at Glenelg Golf Club said: “People really enjoy the event, it’s a great day and a fantastic fundraiser. Minda does a brilliant job putting it all together. We get both members, as well as a lot of visitors coming past, which is just wonderful."

Players took part in an 18-hole best ball stableford, with winners also rewarded for the longest drive, nearest the pin and straightest drive.

Golfers were also encouraged to test their skills in a gold coin donation dart board game on the course, as well as partake in a spot of morning tea, with all money raised from tickets and purchases, going directly towards Minda.

There was also trading tables overflowing with handmade homewares, edible treats and plants available to purchase.

A raffle with fantastic prizes was also on offer, with the generous donations put together from sponsors; Terry White Chemmart, Battery Bar, SA Group Enterprises and JSK (Just Smart Kitchenware).
