Personal Safety

Basing teachings around the key message of No, Go, Tell, Personal Safety training encourages participants to let trusted people in their lives know if they are sad or upset about something.

The training helps to identify the people participants can trust, whether it is at work, at home, or in the community, finding specific people they can go to for help.

Audience-appropriate scenarios explore what is considered ‘okay’ and ‘not okay’ at work, home and in the community and, depending on the individual’s cognitive ability, areas such as financial, sexual, physical and emotional abuse are explained.

The personal approach includes encouraging participants to talk about their own life experiences.
