If you like to get your hands dirty, Minda can support you to grow and harvest food and plants in different garden settings; this can involve:

  • Using tools and equipment
  • Planting and propagating
  • Garden maintenance
  • Harvesting

We can also support you to engage in activities that can help you build work-based skills, such as:

  • Planting seedlings
  • Growing vegetables and herbs for cooking
  • Watering
  • Composting
  • Weeding

You can also learn about what lives in the great outdoors, with information about domestic and farm animals and endangered species and wildlife. This can include trips to the zoo, animal sanctuaries and farms.
