Coronavirus (COVID-19) update for the Minda community

Information current as of Friday July 10, 2020

We are pleased to announce that in line with the continued easing of COVID-19 restrictions across the State, we are working on a phased approach to opening the Minda site.

This includes our onsite INC Café, which is again open to the public, while still following appropriate social distancing protocols, rules which dictate capacity, and other relevant government directives.

Please note, there will be continuing restrictions at the Minda Nursing Home (PKC) in line with SA Health’s emergency management directions for aged care facilities.

Additionally, while we recognise the Minda Pool is a popular facility for our Brighton community, we are unable to reopen to the public at this time. With current restrictions on the number of people allowed in the pool area, we will continue to prioritise its use for therapy sessions for our clients.

Thank you, our Minda community, for your continued support as we move to safely reopen our operations. We look forward to sharing more information with you about the reopening of the Minda site soon.

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the safety and wellbeing of our clients, their families, our staff and volunteers is our number one priority at Minda.

While there have been no cases of COVID-19 within our community, Minda joined numerous other Australian businesses in activating early-stage pandemic response plans as a precautionary measure.

As government restrictions begin to ease, we will gradually review the precautionary measures put in place, in line with advice and guidance of health authorities.

We will keep you updated as soon as new information comes to hand.

You can read our Coronavirus Response Plan here. We also recently released our Strategic Plan and you can read about how we are planning for the future here.
