Information current as of Friday September 11, 2020
As the COVID-19 situation escalated around the country, we returned to an active response phase at Minda, seeking to ensure our clients and staff are safe from the spread of Coronavirus.
We implemented a new screening process which must be completed by all staff, visitors and contractors at the start of every shift.
Our ageing in place accommodation, PKC, is currently closed to non-essential visitors. Additional precautions to meet government directives are in place, including the wearing of face masks by staff members if a distance of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained between a staff member and a resident.
Our other operations are continuing, in line with SA Health directives and social distancing guidelines, with INC Cafe and the hydrotherapy pool at Minda Brighton open to the public.
The safety and welfare of our clients and staff remains our number one priority and we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely.
The safety and wellbeing of our clients, their families, our staff and volunteers is our number one priority at Minda.
While there have been no cases of COVID-19 within our community, Minda joined numerous other Australian businesses in activating pandemic response plans as a precautionary measure and we continue to follow SA Health advice.
We will keep you updated as soon as new information comes to hand.
