National Psychology Week at Minda

Psychology Week is an annual initiative of the Australian Psychological Society that aims to increase public awareness of how psychology can help Australians lead healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.

Psychology Week 2018 (11th - 17th November) will focus on enhancing social wellbeing and helping Australians build positive social connections, with the overall aim of demonstrating how psychology helps people lead happier, healthier and more productive lives. Now in its 16th year, National Psychology Week 2018 will build on previous campaigns which have emphasised how important relationships with family and friends are to wellbeing and psychological health.

The team at Minda have put together a newsletter to provide some useful information about psychology at Minda, intellectual disability, mental illness, Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as looking after yourself. We hope you will find this information interesting from a professional and personal perspective.
